Pioneer PL-115D or the PL-510?

So I was browsing for a new turntable and came across two Pioneer models.
The PL-115D and the PL-510 (not the 510A version)

Does anyone have experience with these?
I've read that these are decent medium turntables. The 115D would cost me twice as much as the 510, but is one actually a lot better?

FYI, the 510 comes with a Shure M70BX cartridge, is that somewhat decent?

Yes, the PL-510. The PL-510 is direct drive, cost over 50% more than the belt drive PL-115D when they were new (around 1977), and had superior specifications. In fact, there’s someone selling an ad for it on eBay at the moment, with the basic premise that if you couldn’t afford the PL-510, you could buy the cheaper PL-117D, PL-115D or PL-112D. So if they are in similar condition, the PL-510 is probably the one to go for, particularly if it’s cheaper.

FYI, the 510 comes with a Shure M70BX cartridge, is that somewhat decent?

The Shure M70BX is a spherical stylus cartridge tracking at 1.5 to 3g, and would be a good match for the Pioneer’s tonearm. It can be upgraded with the N70EJ or N72EJ 0.4 x 0.7mil elliptical stylus, or an aftermarket equivalent, and is probably a reasonable performer. It's almost certainly better than the cheap cartridge the turntable was originally supplied with.
