Pioneer Pl 150

Hey Guys,

Just picked up a Pioneer Pl 15D II at local thrift shop for $4. Before I do my diagnostic testing, can any of you tell me a little bit more on these TT's or anyone who owns one? How are they regarded in the world of TT's. Has a beautiful wood base and nice controls very cool looking!

These turntables (this whole series, really) were workhorses for many years and through several incarnations. Reliable and decent sounding. Unfortunately your thread title says PL-150 which didn't exist and therefore may not attract too many readers.

Yeah I know I realized that after I post it. I'm new to this great site and could not find a way to edit the title of the thread.

Its fine, you gave me pretty much the info that I needed. I was able to plug it in last night and everything worked. No humming noise or ground issues. The belt felt a bit loose, I will replace it and make sure it is lubracted properly. Then she should be ready to go in my little collection.
