Pioneer PL-518 vs. Micro Seiki DD-24

A Pioneer PL-518 has caught my eye but I'm wondering if it would be a noticeable upgrade over my Micro Seiki DD-24.

Both are direct drive with auto return.
Both have Wow & Flutter less than 0.03%.
Both have S/N ratio of more than 73 dB.
Pioneer is quite a bit heavier: 7kg/15.4 lbs vs. 9.5kg/20 lb 15 oz

There is nothing wrong with my Micro Seiki and it sounds great to me, but I like what I've read and seen about the PL-518. I haven't listened to other turntables enough to know if another turntable of reasonable cost could be a big upgrade on the Micro Seiki.

MS was a model year later and cost more new, 275 vs 200 so these should be about the same. Folks like Pioneer cause it says Pioneer and their friends have heard the name. M-S probably built a number of boatloads more turntables than Pioneer for all sorts of companies.

Thank you! That is excellent info and convinces me to stay with the Micro Seiki that has served me so well for more than 10 years.
