Pioneer PL 520 troubleshooting

I'm back from my excursion. What kind of soldering iron do you have. How many watts. Grab an old pcb board and practice on that. Start by reheating the old connections on that pcb, this will help you when you have to remove your old wires on your tt. Remember that less heat generated on connections the better. If your iron has an adjustable setting. Determine the lowest heat setting for your solder to flow. I'll get back to you about the interconnects. What part of the country are you from. On another note, we could nip those crappy RCA ends off and install some new quality RCA jacks instead of replacing the wired set. Wires in these cables tend to be quite tedious to work with as they have very fine wires.
