Pioneer pl-530 Tonearm Auto Return on end of Record

Hi to you all
i'm trying to repair an old Pioneer PL-530 and found many solution on this forum.
now i'm expereancing an Issue the tune arm docent return to the arm rest at the end of a record
it will return when i press STOP but not automatically at the end of a record
i found many adjust options in the series manual but I'm not sure witch one do i need to adjust and the instruction are not so clear

Is your tonearm mode switch in manual? This turntable has the modes as 7", 10", 12", and Manual (which has automatic return). If you register at the site, Vinyl Engine has the manuals available (owner's and service).

It could also be hardened grease is causing problems. I just did a Pioneer PL-520 which has an almost identical mechanism and needed to disassemble most of it, clean off the old grease and re-lube. Works perfectly now. Very nice turntable, by the way.
