Every now and then my TT drops and regains speed repeatedly at about 120 bpm, making for interesting but annoying listening. Returning the arm to the rest and dropping the needle back makes it stop.
This only happens when after a couple of days of not using it.
What is that all about?
Follow up question - the arm raises very slowly and in my haste sometimes I'll forget and drag the needle - how easy is it to get oil into that arm mechanism, if that is what it needs?
