Pioneer PL-540 Strobe Lamp

Once again I appeal to the collective expertise here on AK. The strobe lamp in my Pioneer PL-540 turntable does not light up. I'm having it serviced for another issue, and I would like to get a replacement lamp so the technician can replace it while he has it apart. After searching the web, I'm only more confused as to the proper replacement. Has anyone replaced this lamp? If so, where can I obtain a replacement?

First determine whether the bulb has simply burned out or there has been a component failure in the circuit controlling it.

Replacements are available on eBay, harvested from dead turntables.

Unfortunately, this table also had a speed issue, and after sinking way too much money into repairs, I decided to cut my losses and sell it for "parts or repair". I never got the strobe fixed. Good luck.
