pioneer pl-55x problem

Hi-i own a pioneer pl-55x turntable,altough it looks awsome and sounds excellent-i have aproblem where the tone arm picks up before the end of the record -especialy on 45s. Does anyone out there know how to correct this annoying problem--any help would be appreciated

check out vinylengine.com they may have the manual for it. Look at the base of the arm and see if there is an adjustment screw to adjust how far in the arm will lift.

Hi- yes it does have a heght adj ---but that doesnt help the problem--i tried this a few times already

On some Pioneer models, there is a small plastic or rubber cover to the left of the tonearm. Underneath is a screw to adjust the tonearm return cycle.

I think that adjustment may be under the platter----i tried to lift it off but it didnt come up at all-- and i didnt want to break it---maybe ill try again
