Pioneer PL 560 platter rotation problem

Hello, trying to figure out why the platter on our PL560 does not rotate completely when turned on. It rotates about a quarter or so but not fully. Has anyone encountered this or something similar? Would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to fix it.
