Pioneer PL-71 or PL-530?

Looks great! What do you think of the PL-71/681EEE combo?

So far the little that I've listened... Nice! I don't think I have it set up right yet... plus I don't have a new stylus yet but I think the one that is on it is pretty good for now. I still want a new one though...

I'm going to have to read up on how to set the cart up right and how to set the weights and tracking... I'm kind of new to TT's so I'm learning...

Good choice, I'm very happy with mine, both in the performance and looks departments.

Nice table. I have had mine for a year or so now. As mentioned earlier spend some time cleaning the pitch controls and the speed select switches. It will really help in maintaining correct pitch. Took me three attempts to really clean them out entirely. For a long period I felt the 71 had more inner groove distortion than my pl-630. Finally installed a Sumito adjustable horizontal azimuth headshell and using a bubble level found the tonearm needed a couple of degrees of correction to sound it's best. I switch back and forth between an OM2 red and MP-11 cart. Both sound great tracking at around 1.5 to 2 grams. Enjoy.
