Hi guys!
I had to replace the belt on the PL-9 and now the platter rubs. If I wedge the bottom up from underneath it does not rub and all works as expected.
I had to remove the feet to get to the belt and the four rubber "dampers" crumbled into uselessness and I tossed the pieces. I have a feeling that may be the problem unless the four feet are different and I put them on incorrectly (are some longer than others?).
Any suggestions on how to repair / work around this issue? Pioneer parts does not show these parts as available (PEB-179 "Damper rubber"). I'm glad I ordered three extra belts several years ago when I needed just one...
Thanks,
Michael
