Hi All--just joined and this is my first post. I have a Pioneer PLA-45D turntable that I originally purchased back in 1976. I'm looking for any advice on how to fix the tone arm lifting mechanism. When I operate the lifting lever, the arm that provides the lift does not move. It appears to be stuck in the down position. I recently decided to start using this turntable again after a couple of years sitting in storage, since its replacement a Technics SL-QD35 decided that the auto return fails to operate at the end of LP play. I'd be appreciative of any ideas on this problem as well. The autostart works fine. Thank you!
