Pioneer Prelude 4000PL speed issue

Hi all,

I've come into possession of a Pioneer Prelude 4000 PL from my dad.

I've never owned a TT before and have been tinkering around with it and researching the basics but I have the following issue:

It seems to be running a fraction slow. I'm not sure if the belt has ever been replaced and I'm aware that a new belt could solve my issue, however I am aware on other models of a fine tune adjustment for speed via screws but I cannot seem to locate any speed adjustment screws! Can anyone see anything on the attached images that I cannot?

Images attached, I have not included an image of the underside as it only has screws visible to hold the cover on

Thanks,
Simon

If it has been sitting around for awhile, I would just change the belt as a first step. The belts, especially when not in use, tend to dry out and lose their "tackiness" along with taking a set. After that, I'd pursue other avenues. The "cleaning / relube" is a good idea as well.
