Pioneer quad, with scope?

Vintage 1976 or so, $750 back then. Built-in CD4 demodulator, plus QS and SQ synthesizers. 40w times 4 channels. Not a bad unit. Two TT inputs!

BTW, that's not really a "scope" - just a 4 channel balance indicator.

Cheers,
Larry B.

These are great in two channel mode too. There's a plug in back that you pull out, flip around and plug back in which focuses the huge power supply on just the front two channels if you're not going to use it as a quad unit.

A very quick scan at the SOLD items on eBay indicates this might be a good deal... specially if you can get it for less. Find out if it works and what works.

And as mentioned, these would likely sound great in 2-channel mode.

I had one and used it in 2 channel mode for years (rated at 60 WPC). High build quality but tough to work on as it's crammed with parts. If it's working that's a good price.

Thats why I tend to stick with separates. Just easier to work on.
