Pioneer Receiver with Alexa

Hi,
New here. I have a new Pioneer reciever with bluetooth capability. Have it paired to my phone. I want to pair it to Alexa. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I had my previous, non-BT receiver connected with a 3rd party BT receiver. It was a cheapy. I was hoping to not use that and connect directly to the receiver but Alexa absolutely refuses to recognize the Pioneer.

Maybe dumb on my part but I thought this would be a prime use for the BT on a receiver. Mine is the LX504, which just came out in August so should have all the latest capabilities...right?

You could just get the little Echo Input, which has an analog output, with an RCA to 3.5mm cable. Works great, inexpensive, so small you won't know it's there.
