Pioneer SA-508 or NAD 3020 paired with NAD 4020b

Hello peoples,

currently I own a Pioneer SA-508 at my home office. My mother is getting rid of het NAD setup. 3020 amp en 4020b tuner. Now I wonder, what would be the better setup. Pioneer with NAD tuner or the NAD amp with the NAD tuner. They will be paired with Hans Baan HB-5 speakers. Those are improved dynaco a25 speakers. Hans Baan replaced the seas tweeters with peerles tweeters back in the day.

Ofcourse listeningnto both setups will be key, but your experienced opinions are also very much appreciated.

Btw, what do you all think of the Sony STR-7035L? Also in my posession, but worth keeping?

I would have to say the NAD amp and NAD tuner. But I have no experience on the Pioneer SA-508, and lots of experience with the NAD 3020.

Why not keep both? Find the matching tuner for the Pioneer amp, and use these in another room?

My wife would kill me. What makes the nad 3020 a good/great amp for you?
 
Positives :
It's is very musical, I find myself hearing little nuances that I've never heard before.
It is warm sounding, and so can tame bright speakers or sources.
Speakers that are difficult to drive don't faze it, 4 ohm loads, or highly reactive loads aren't a problem.
It sounds louder than it's 20W rated output would suggest.
It is easy to work on, and simple upgrades produce amazing results.
Parts are (at the moment) still readily available.

Negatives :
Looks plain, and faceplates are easily damaged.
Has no speaker switching, apart from putting in headphones mutes the speakers.
No protection relay, so has switch on/off thumps (but I have a board that does this).
Speaker terminals are small and fiddly, and the RCA sockets can bend or break.
They are approaching 40 years old, so using an unrestored one can be dicey.
 
both are good but is it new acustic dimension or just nad on the device, this because proir to 1980 ,pioneer had much better sound and very good sounding with modern speakers ,maybe one of the best series from pioneer which i own a complete 78 system ,allthough the new acustic dimension ,nad from the 70´s i own a receiver and also sounds very good maybe not better because it was stored in a place with humidity making it not at 100% of it´s quality not restored yet
