Pioneer SA 6500 - Need transistor advice

Hi everyone. I have a Pioneer SA-6500 amp that I've decided to look at finally. The output transistors are shorted and I cant seem to find replacements. The original part numbers are as follows:
2SB595 ( replace w/ NTE262 close match?)
2SD525 ( replace w/ NTE261 close match?)

I have data sheets and service manual

Looks like TIP 41/42 transistors will work.

Thanks ryuuoh, thats them. Killer. Much appreciated. One more question regarding the triac in this unit: SM2B41. I think a suitable sub may be NTE5613, but that's $32.50. You know a cheaper equiv. ?? I'm ordering from Digi-key. Thanks Again

If you have the datasheet for the original part, you can get close.

I've looked at the data sheets, and the expensive NTE5613 is a perfect match. The problem is, when I look on Digikey or Mouser, there is no 100v 10A triac/thristor. ? Any ideas? Thanks

The Littelfuse Q6030LH5 (TO-220 package) should do.

Shorts the transformer secondary and forces the fuse to pop. Odd, but effective.

Thanks Echo Wars. I'll give Littelfuse Q6030LH5 (TO-220 package) a try. Meanwhile, I'm using my multimeter to check the original Triac SM2B41, but only get a reading of 251 ohms, between M1 and Gate. 0 reading any other way. Is this normal for this particular triac?
