Pioneer SA-6700 Power on, No Sound

Hi all,
I am new to audio equipment, audio karma, and vintage electronics. I purchased my late model SA-6700 in its current condition for $90 because I love the look of it and have experienced the high quality sound from a similar Amp in the past. I have been wanting to get a nice setup for a while. I do have some electrical experience, but it is mostly in the robotics area rather than sound equipment.
My amp is in great aesthetic condition and when powered on the analog watt meters light up bright blue! Unfortunately, that is where the action stops. I have done some reading and saw something about the protection circuit being a common failure point. I will be finding the diagrams and manuals for this model and cracking it open for some inspecting and testing soon.

I know that is not much to go on but any tips for starting out my diagnostics would be greatly appreciated! I will share more information within the next few days.

Have you checked the internal fuses? Do you have a DBT (dim bulb tester) Do you have a DMM (digital multimeter)? Do you know how to test transistors with it?

This is the only fuse I noticed and tested. It has good continuity. I don't have a DBT but will be ordering one as it seems that is needed for testing. I do have a nice multimeter. I have looked into testing transistors but have not attempted to yet. I was told to test the mosfets but have got to research the steps for doing so.

First thing I'd do is clean the pots and switches just to be sure it's not something simple.

What input(s) did you try? What did you have connected to them? Did you try headphones?
