pioneer sa 6700 / sa 606 idle problem

Hi everybody! I have idle current problem with a pioneer sa 606 ( sa 6700), le left chanel is ok, but right one I have 700mV on te test point ( the service manual says that shoul be no more tha 70mV), even cutting the jumper the situation does not improve. I have removed all the power transistor and re-misured the idle current at the test point, the left chanel I have 0,0mV and the right chanel I have 35mV,, I have tested all the transistors and diodes and they look like ok, I wish some one could help to fix this amplifier, thanks in advance and forgive me for my bad english

with power removed ..measure ohms on the large white resistors next to the output transistors ..one or more are likely open circuit ..

Thanks petehall347, tommor I will try, I bought this amplifier just few days ago and I did not have time yet for to test it, just I see that both channels working, and at moderate volume look like it has not problem (not distorsion or craking).

Hi petehall347, thanks, one of the of 0.5 ohm resistor is open, maybe it's not possible to find the same value resistor, do you think a 0.47 ohm could be fine?. As soon as possible I will change it and I'm let you know if the amplifier is fixed. Thanks a lot. Ciao.

change both resistors for that channel to keep it even ..

Maybe I change all the 4 resistor so both channel are the same, in italy 0,5 ohm are hard find, I have to put 0,47 ohm that are easy to find. Thanks again petehall347.
