Recently began working on an SA 7500 in good condition. (Not MK II) Unit appears to be in original condition and the boards have required minimal cleaning. So far only changed out speaker inputs for modern binding posts. Planning to recap and restore the unit to its best self.
The interior metal frame appears to have some surface corrosion (?) that does not yield to a small paintbrush application of alcohol or deoxit. See photos.
Any recommendations for a cleaning substance and method safe to use on it and effective? I don't imagine this problem matters for function, just trying to the unit to gleam.
