Just got one of these in great condition aesthetically, but there is a popping sound right after I power up:sigh:. It eventually fades away when the unit warms up. I read a thread that the 2SC1451 transistors are the culprit. I am searching for replacements and cannot locate this transistor. What would be a replacement transistor for this one? Anyone?

You might want to re-post this in the Pioneer forum. Someone has probably dealt with this specific issue before and there might be more specialists to catch it there.

Sometimes when I'm looking for a good sub for a Japanese transistor I will enter the number into an AK google search and a thread will come up with a viable sub number in it.
