PIONEER SA-9800 - Help with voltage issue

Hello community,

hoping everybody had a good week and is ready to attack the weekend projects. Speaking of, I got this Pioneer SA-9800 from a friend that is acting up. One channel sounds more or less OK (with a little Hum), the other one is completely distorted. I think the problem is the power supply as the screen is also acting up (low dim and I can see the bars moving with no audio input). There is probably a thread somewhere addressing a power issue on AK, and I would appreciate if someone can please point me in that direction so we don't start a new thread.
By the way, the relay clicks and there is distorted sound. Here are the voltages I measured:

Could any of you please verify or validate the voltages above? I might have messed up with some negative or positive values but the values are what comes out of the MM. Again, I apologize if this information in on another thread. Thanks immensely to the community in advance.

PS: I am concerned about Pins# 3&4. I think I read somewhere here that it should be another value. Also, the power supply has not been worked on yet. I might end up recapping it, but the problem seems to be on one or more of the transistors in it. so far I have identified" A9004, C1914, K3404. etc. Any advise on replacement and where to get them?

Thanks Mark! I think I have a couple of 512-KSC2690AYS laying around. I will check tonight and I will post an update later! Cheers!
 
Gentlemen,

The transistors finally arrived last night and I attempted to replaced Q1-C1735 with 512-KSC2690AYS as suggested by MTH. However, I had some difficulties locating Q1. I downloaded the schematics from AK and also from HFI and both refer to the power supply as 191 not 194. The problem is that in my amp there is only 1 C1735 and it seems that the Q1 then was replaced. All the other transistors look original and in the copy of the schematics I have, for Q1 location does not have the C1735...Thoughts?

that was one seriously overheated board!!!

it says AWR-194c.

how many pages in the pdf? mine has 54 with an additional type s service manual that includes the 194 board.
page 48 schematic
page 49 board pattern.

just because the current occupant of Q1 position was not what you expected, isn't a major problem.

it would help to know just WHAT was in Q1's position??? at the least. listing all 12 would be better to evaluate Q1.

I apologize. I just re-revisited both schematics and HFI only has 45 pages and the AK one has 54. I found the correct board on page 48/49 of the AK schematics! :-) So here are the 12 Qs currently on the board:
  • C9114
  • KS34 (2)
  • A904 (2)
  • C1735 (1)
  • C945
  • A733
  • B682
  • ECG291 - this one is the other one on the heat sink along with the B682
  • 289A -this one along with 290a are smaller than the rest
  • 290A
Those are the Qs or transistors on the board. The only one that seems to be out of sync is the C945, but I could be wrong...Thoughts?

PS: After removing the board I realized that it has been worked on previously with horrible soldering. Once I find the bad trans I will clean and retouch...
 
clean and retouch first, that might be why transistor is misbehaving.

after that, evaluate...
