Hey guys,

I have an oppurtunity to buy a pioneer sa 9800. I currently own a pioneer 8500 II.

This would be a huge upgrade to my current setup as far as I understand, but what would you pay for 9800 max in top condition?

It's some what of a debate, I've owned a few of the amps *7500II, 9500II and the 9800* and all purchased within a reasonable amount. I would say for a fine example or as close to "mint' you can get I'd pay between 450-650 tops. They also had some with a wood case, that would again add some value to the mix. I suppose it's all about what you have to spend and what you would view as a deal. They are wonderful amps and a great addition to any system, let us know what you do!
