Hello,
this is my first post at AK. I am from Munich, Germany, please excuse my English.
Perhaps someone can help me with the following problem.
Since a few days I own an SD-1100 scope from Pioneer. It looks great and works fine with one exception. The oscillator frequency is not stable. I checked this with a counter.
After start, the frequency increases constantly, at the beginning faster, later slower, until it is nearly fix.
E.g. from 950Hz to 1060Hz it takes around 15 minutes. When changing the frequency again the process starts again. Further the oscillator doesn't reach the full 20kHz.
From the service manual I saw that perhaps the CdS element on the AWX-033 board could be faulty.
Does anyone has any experience with this area of the SD 1100?
Could perhaps a recap on this board help to solve the problem?
Thank you very much for your help.
Greetings,
Joerg
