Pioneer SE-30 production run and info?

Hey fellow headphone people! about 8 months ago I got a pair of Pioneer SE-30. They're really great headphones in my opinion.

My question is, does anyone know when to when these headphones were produced? According to the date code on my headphones from what I can tell they are from 1974. Just recently I discovered a chart that shows this model only being produced till 1971 and was replaced by the SE-30A in '72. Does anyone have a pair of Pioneer SE-30 that you know was made after 1971?:sigh:

Is it possible Pioneer did not add the suffix letter to the model number? I see a SE-30 was made from 1968 to 71 and then a SE-30A 71-72 and a SE-30D 1985 to 89 So it would seam your date code is possibly incorrect or the Data base is incomplete.

Good thing I have the original box with the "owners manual". From what I can tell the manual also uses this letter coding. It has the letter R on it so the paper was printed in 1971. I guess my headphones are older than I thought all this time! Funny how Engrish the manual is. A couple typos and weird wording. Earmuffs is spelled "Earmutts".:sigh:
