I have a Pio SG-9500 EQ and a NAD 3020 amp. The rpoblem is that my sg9500 recently started making a humming noise (not the frequency of mains hum, more like an electrical buzz.) Moving it away from other equipement did not stop it, and sometimes it clicked on and off like a wire making and un-making contact. I think it has something wrong inside of it... Any hope of fixing it, should I bring it to a shop or something?

Dirty switches or controls. When it is humming. Try wiggling or adjusting all the controls one at a time. I'll bet one of them is the culprit. Also might check you phono interconnects on back,may be a loose one,half way plugged in or a broken shield on one.
Unfortunately, no amount of wiggling switches / sliders / in/outputs helped. In case this helps, it only hums when the eq circuit is on. The unit can be on and it won't hum as long as the "EQ" switch is off. If it's a problem in the circuitry, I might have to go somewhere like Audio Lab or Stereo La to get it fixed.
