Pioneer SG-9800 equalizer sold $308 on eBay

Metal case, no box, blured pictures, no close-ups. Probably close to averagre condition. Isn't it too rich?

Maybe it's because it was tested. Because 70% of them sell "don't know how to test it, so as-is".

I've seen others sell for big bucks. I don't know what the story is. Maybe they are really rare.

Not rare, I see them every week on eBay. Actually I have one and I like it a lot.

OK, That's TOO much. The 9800 has the problematic push buttons. The 9500 is the prime one (IMHO) with toggles. I used to see both a lot and when they go past $100 with postage, I gave up. But, they don't make them anymore and, yes, many are listed as untested, as-is. Maybe our collections are becoming more valuable. :yes::scratch2:

On the other side of the coin, I recently won an alledged "broken" SG-9500 parts unit to replace a couple broken tipped sliders on the SG-9500 I have for $9.99. It works fine. It was missing all the toggle caps and feet and the power lamp is out but otherwise is operational.
