Sent seller an email, I"m sure they'll be gone before I get a chance at them, but we'll see! Would be interesting to see how they compare to my more modern Emotiva gear. Never seen/heard any SPEC gear in person so I dunno?! They certainly look well made though!

Thanks! Price-wise, I can't lose here, but I wonder if this is a worthwhile upgrade to my newer Emotiva stuff (USP-1 and UPA-200). Cool-factor...ABSOLUTELY AN UPGRADE. Sound - maybe/probably? Reliability - Almost certainly a downgrade? My Emotiva stuff is still under warranty. Anxious to talk to seller and find out more about condition of this gear.

Don't know Emotive.

Price wise, can't lose.
Working properly, those two are hard to beat.
Worth a restore for sure and then they should compete with about anything using electricity.

SO far I haven't had the pleasure of seeing or hearing new gear that has the "soul" of vintage.

I was thinking the same thing. No reply, but I'm not surprised. If real, it would have gone in minutes. Odd he didn't know the value, but knew 200 keywords to draw traffic... Also odd that it stayed up for so long.
It would have been a crappy day to drive to Byron anyway. Cold, breezy, and light to moderate rain since I finished cutting the lawn this morning.
