Pioneer Spec 2 Common Ground

Hello AKers. Can someone tell me if a Spec 2 is Common Ground? Using my 9800 as a Pre and the Spec 2 as the main. Needles move but no sound. Polk SRS with interconnect cable. 9800 has no problems. The Spec 2 just returned from a major service.

I'm sure that if you use common RCA interconnects it should work and yes they are common ground.

Is this the preamp or power amp? I'm too lazy to look 'em up at the moment. : D

Spec 2 is the power amp. I’m using the SA9800 as the pre
 
Using standard RCA interconnects, you should be fine. The problem lies elsewhere. Does the power amp have a speaker protection relay? Do you hear a click when it is powered up?

I do. It just went through a major refurb. I will get it back to my tech for investigation
