Pioneer SX – 880 restoration

Pioneer SX – 880 restoration
I was recently given an SX 8880 to restore had to be sold for me. My only job is I need to completely restore it head to toe front to back side to side do you name it. Has anyone had any experience in restoring this particular model? I would love anyone’s input on restoring this and what new components I could use? Any help of course is greatly appreciated be blessed in abundance and thank you so very much for your assistance.

I'm assuming that we are talking about the SX-880 that is the big brother to the SX-780 and Little brother to the sx-1280 and sx-1980?
I ask because there is a sx-990 that predates even the sx-x3x (636, 737 and so on) and I'm hoping that this is the more modern one than that...

it does not address the (tired) power supply and protect silicon.
