As I say, if legit it be a superb deal @ that price. Owned both the 1050 and the Euro version 5580. The 1050 is a well respected receiver in its class.

Hate to say but I had it and passed. Red flag popped up and for once didn’t ignore it. I don’t need it or potential headache. Thought I’d leave it for, hopefully a person that really needs it. 3 rd deal I backed out on recently. Guess it’s time to admit I like what I have and am good with it. Hope it works out for whoever. I already have a 5580 and many others and $200 for a flip won’t change my life.

Seller had no used/tested unit. Said would hook it up and send me a video and pickup was at highway interchange-not a/his house where you can see and verify functionality. I’m sure it’s a good unit, just seemed strange w/that low price, “no shipping-again” was in the Ad. My personal red flag is ALL my gear not being used and the stuff I need to downsize.

$450 may be a good deal but that is still a good amount of coin to not see it set up and a car to car pick up. I agree with your red flag spidy sense on this one. I would want it for less on that kind of deal set up.

I've done the same during these parking lot rendezvouses. I also keep a 1/4" to 1/8" headphone adapter as well as 1/8" to RCA jack cable in the car.
