can i hook up my pioneer sx 1280 to a mixer to use as a tuner for my b-52 matrix 2000

come out of the pioneer sx 1280 preout jacks to the mixer's channel 2 input to use as a tuner and to select between cd, tape

here's what i have now

stanton 2 channel mixer. channel 1 hooked up to a computer. and the mixer's output going to a B-52 matrix 2000 system.

i did try both today

I just want to make sure nothing would burn up

i know with the preout you would have to set the volune to a certain level on the pioneer to get sound to the mixer. and you can adjust the bass and treble on the pioneer.

with the tape out you can not.

I had a qsc usa 850 amp hooked to the pioneer
i took the jumpers out and put Y cables there so i could use the qsc to power my 18" subs. and use the pioneer to power the mids and the tweaters

the picture below are homemade speakers with 18" subs

Wow, nice speaks. Although, with over 200 watts, I think your SX-1280 would have enough "oomph" to drive the whole set.:scratch2:
