A Pioneer SX-1980 receiver on ebay with 6 hours to go right now is at $1000. Has a couple of case marks (water ring from glass on the unit and a few scratches), and is being sold "as is". But is being touted as working well.

What do these units go for usually? It's nice looking and all but too rich for my means.

And another going for over $1500 with 3 days to go.

There's also a parts unit going for around $550 too.

A while ago I saw two 'perfect condition' SX-1980s go for $2600 and $3000 respectively, although I haven't seen any go for such a high price in quite a while.
 
There is also a sad looking "for parts" unit that has gone outragously high.I think it was over $500 last I checked.Broken knobs, scratches, missing a panel and I don't believe it even powers up.Not to mention the possibility of the outputs toasted.
 
New ebay I.D. and last two items were located in Thailand and U.S.A.. Any one see some red flags :scratch2: ?

That's fishy enought to bring it's owm lemon. NO way would I bid on that not for $20.00.
 
I don´t know what to think about this auction.

Maybe the seller is so lazy and stupid and can not handle Ebay and its gonna be a real score, or .....

If he wants to make fast money, why he is not putting it in the right Category???
