Hi Pioneer owners.

I own a totally restored SX-1980 ( just finished by fellow member Salbreth1) and I'm looking to replace the scratched radio dial knob and bass knob. Can someone tell me what other Pioneer SX models would have these knobs that fit the SX-1980? I know the SX-950, 1050, 1250 have different knobs than the SX-80 models but not sure if the SX-780, SX-980 etc models will work for donor parts on these control knobs I need. Thank you for your help!!

Download the sx-1980 manual, it has the part numbers you need,
then reference those to the knobs on other x80 series units as referenced by THEIR downloaded manuals.
They're in there!!

parts.pioneerelectronics.com might still list them but the old stuff is disappearing from it.
It no longer recognizes SX-1980 as a model.

The tuning "radio dial" knob IS unique, it can only come from a donor sx-1980
Tone knobs are probably universal across the x80 line.
Check your donor's manual specifically.
