This receiver stopped working properly recently under normal conditions. When I replace the 2.5a fuse the unit lights up for a moment and the fuse pops. Im having no luck troubleshooting this unit can anybody offer some ideas?

In my experience, it is usually a shorted output device. It can also be other things such as diodes, capacitors, transformers, but I think I would first suspect an output transistor or stk pack or whatever it uses.

but it doesn't supply the outputs according to the schematic ..unless i misread it ..

I desoldered the diodes below the fuses and tested them they seem fine. I also tested transistors on the board q202 and q206 show shorts on the board when removed from the board I don't find any shorts? i also replaced these transistors and the new ones show a short on the board?
