Believe that would be the -580. ... and yup, the stack would be an easy bargain at $20. Drop the cassette and VCR off at GW for the tax credit, flip the TT for $20 and viola!, a free pioneer receiver.

This CL ad shows an entry level Pioneer SX-580 or 680. Not sure which and the ad doesn't state. Like new! For $20 this would be great as a starter system, bedroom, garage, or getting your kids into vintage audio. Dayona FL area. http://daytona.craigslist.org/ele/1651702451.html

I am surprised that the ad is still up there as I picked these items up last Saturday. The seller was right about the condition as besides some small scuffs and needing to be cleaned up a little they are in like new condition. The receiver is indeed a SX-580 and sounds great. The TT is a Sansui SR-535 with an AT11se cartridge in good shape. It doesnt have the original headshell which I hear is hard to find as I also have an SR-636 that I have been trying to find the headshell for, with no luck so far. The cassette deck is a Fisher Studio Standard CR-W56 that looks brand new. The VCR is a Panasonic PV-V4521 4 head stereo unit thats looks fine also. The vcr I will be keeping to hook up to bedroom tv so I can watch Looney Tunes Golden Jubilee tapes:D and the rest of the equipment along with some Pioneer CS-33A's, will be going up to Georgia soon for a almost 16year old cousin, who once told me "I want all the old music stuff you listen to when you die". Since I plan many more years I dont want her to wait to have something besides her i-pod to listen to. I will also be giving her an adapter (I bought her last visit to hook up the ipod to my sx-950 so she could hear what the music is really supposed to sound like not thru those little ear buds) so she can hook up the ipod to the sx-580 and really listen to the music and enjoy.
