Pioneer SX-636

I can get an all original, everything basically working, cosmetically nice Pioneer SX-636 from a private seller.

The mean of 2016 completed Ebay sales of working, all original units is 120.00; average is $126.00. These numbers exclude "as-is", "parts only", and restored units. I found 9 such completed sales since 1/1/16.

The seller is not an audio nut, but he's in the used goods business, and I don't expect him to be a sucker.

My plan is to fix it up, keep it if I like it, or sell it.

Are these Ebay numbers high or in line?

EDIT: I have never sold on Ebay. With a private sale, I will save Ebay shipping, and I assume the seller avoids an Ebay commission, the amount of which I do not know. Is this close to a wash or does it favor one party?

I would pay 75-100 for one in nice cosmetic condition if I was in the market.
I had a 737 for while that I got for 45 bucks. I really liked that receiver. It sounded nice. The only maintenance I did was clean the pots. I used that for a few years before trading it to a friend.

Listening to it now, going through the boards and putting together an order. It's got some shaky transistors, a bunch of tantalums, and 3 stink bug carcasses, but appears to have been well treated.
