Pioneer SX-727 Refurb

Hey Gang,

Was gonna get rid of my Pioneer SX-727 but, due to other equipment failure ended up hooking it up. Totally blown away by what thIs does with a pair of Boston HD5s. I live in New Market, Maryland and I’d like to get it serviced to use on a regular basis. I called Just Audio (Came highly recommended) but they seem to be more of a fix it if its is out of spec or failing repair shop. Not throwing stones here, I have just owned enough vintage solid state to have come to my own conclusion that things fail and I don’t want to do the back and forth to the repair shop routine. Is there anyone local to the DMV that folks recommend to do a little deeper refurb on vintage solid state? Thanks in advance!

I think that's not uncommon, because restorations take so much time.
Are you willing to ship it? If so, that would give you some good options.
 
Not too keen on ship mainly because of added cost. I may just have the local shop take a look at it and know that it may need annual maintenance. I wish the quality of new units wasn't so awful.
