Pioneer SX-727 speaker selector switch

I have looked all over online for the power/speaker selector switch for the Pioneer SX-727 receiver, but no site seems to have it available, including Pioneer. The part number should be ASA-027. Does anyone know of any other parts that may work in its place from another Pioneer receiver perhaps, or any other way to obtain this part? Thank you!

Welcome Aboard!

Is it the power switch you need, or the speaker selector wafer?

what happened is that the shaft for the speaker selector/power switch cracked off. I took it to a shop but they said they couldn't figure out how to fix it without finding a whole new switch assembly, which I have not been able to find online. I still have the knob and there is a little bit of the shaft protruding still, so the only way to turn the unit on or change speakers would be with pliers. is there a way I could take a shaft from another switch or something and insert it in place of my cracked one? here is a stock picture of the switch I'm talking about

I was able to locate part # S11-029, which is the speaker selector/power switch for FVZW and FW (German and export versions). The model I have is the KUW (U.S.) version. Do you know if this part would work in place of part number ASA-027, which is the speaker selector switch for the U.S. version? Like I said, the internal components of the switch work, only the shaft has been cracked. The service shop told me they would replace the switch for me if I could find one that would work. The guys at the shop said they would be hesitant to try to drill out the shaft and repair it by tapping it and using a "donor" shaft as in the other thread for fear of damaging other components.

yes it will be the same. Schematics are identical. only differences in export models would be 220v models and some changes to circuitry/ parts.

Ok thank you! I know the US version isn't running 220 volts, I just don't know if the wiring on the power/selector switch for the German/export version would be different or not work on the US version of the SX-727. If I got this power/selector switch for the German/Export version, would the wires on it be able to be connected to the board for the US version of the SX-727 without any issues?
