Pioneer SX-7730

Received my SX-7730 safe and sound from an esprayer who actually packed very well. This is the European black faced model of the SX-737. I haven't listened to her yet, but she sure is clean. The face is spotless, all lights and switches work, and the case has one minor blemish...near mint!

Edit...just fired her up and everything works as it should, with no scratchiness in the controls...nice bass and smooth on the top, kinda tubish. She sings like a bird! :thmbsp:

Btw, this is my first working Pioneer receiver. :D I have $10 SX-626 awaiting repair.

Sweet!!!!

What did you pay for her? Nice looking! What are you running it through. Speakers? Music sources? Post how she sounds!

I must say that that receiver is one lovely specimen. Its a beauty.
The Sx-737 sounds awsome with a terrific bottom end. If it sounds anything like its sister it will sound wonderful.

Cool :smoke: ... are the knobs and metal trim silver? ... they look gold in the photo ... I am surprised that a European receiver works on US current ...

Most of the european models have voltage selectors 110-120-220-240V, so no problem in the US, but vice versa its more problematic to use a 110V only unit in Europe. Then you need a additional transformer.
The knobs should be silver, I think it was a problem with the white balance of the digital camera.

droolicious

My god, that thing is drop-dead gorgeous. [Napoleon Dynamite] Luckyy! \[Napoleon Dynamite]

Incandescent lighting throws that dang yellow hue. I don't use a flash and need to get a halogen light. The knobs and trim are silver.

Thanks for the compliments!
