Pioneer SX-780 Garage Sale

I picked up a nice performing SX-780 today at a garage sale. I swapped it after a quick cleaning and Deoxit with my son's SX-450. The faceplate is clean and it makes his new Kef 101.3's sing! He'll be surprised when he gets home from school. It came with a Pioneer CT-F750 cassete deck and an equalizer, Pioneer SG-450. It cost me $15.00, but the SX-780 pretty much sealed the deal. Brad

That's a solid package of gear you got there at a bargain price! Many fans of the 780 around here. Kickin' Abbas greatest hits on it now:music:

He's pretty happy with the new system. I just wish he had room for the JBL L100t3's. Maybe in a couple of years when we clear out some of the kid stuff.:scratch2: Brad

What a nice Dad you are!:thmbsp:

Great score. I have two and paid 20.00 for my last one. Wow they practically gave it to you. Your son will be jazzed over that and your house will rock.

My SX-780 / CT-F850 / PL-518 / HPM-60's is probably my most often listened to setup. You're one heckuva dad- glad to hear your son was tickled...:music:

Thanks guys, the way I look at it, he's got a great system for under $25.00. You can't even buy a crummy Emerson boombox for that. It also teaches him some valuable lessons about how to spend your money wisely.:thmbsp: Brad
