Pioneer SX 8000

Good morning! I just came across a pioneer SX 8000 for sale in my neighborhood while searching on the "OFFER" site (am I to avoid naming sales platforms?) Anyhow, description reads, "Everything 100% Perfect!", which I'm sure is a stretch. The picture shows the unit powered up, with all lights appearing to work, and in seemingly great cosmetics. condition. As of now, the seller has countered my offer with an asking price of $80 u.s.d. Does anyone know whether this might be a fair price? Also, is this a desirable unit? And finally, if so, what should I look for / test upon inspection if it is in fact something I should consider? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do you mean a QX-8000 or maybe an SX-9000. Just checked the Pioneer Component Database - there is no SX-8000 listed, at least I couldn't find one.

Thanks so much! I was just researching the supposed model, & have concluded that it is a QX 8000, at least from the picture. The "offer" app prevents copying images, so I'll post pics when I get to his place. I will try to repost in $&sense.. Thanks again!
