Pioneer SX-838 question

Hi All.
I have a pioneer sx-838 and while I was working on the main power amp one of the leads broke off flush at one of the two thermistors? that are screwed to the power amp heat sinks and I have no idea what to replace it with.When the lead breaks off the channel starts smoking.I have it barely tacked on with solder at the moment and it's working.

Is it the STV-4H?
There are some work-arounds to build your own replacement, if so . . .

I think new replacements for that are practically unobtainable unfortunately.

Yes, the 838 is supposed to use STV-4Hs for thermal compensation.

The old STVs may be repairable. Don't throw them in the bin just yet...

I have it working for now but when the lead breaks off for some reason I will have a smoke show.(Already happened but I was there to shut it down)
I'll keep looking on ebay
