Pioneer SX-950 through EPI 100V's

I picked up a Pioneer SX-950, which I am recapping at the moment, and a pair or EPI 100V's from a gentleman in the local area. Is there any concern running these speakers through this receiver if I keep the volume less than 30-40% ? I've tested everything for a couple of hours, but I'm not sure about the long term possibility of damage to either the receiver or speakers or anything else I may be unaware of. I know the EPI's are rated conservatively, but...??

If you feel the need for rock concert SPLs, sell the rig and buy pro sound equipment.

Otherwise, it sounds like a great match. Keep your volume well below the point of audible distortion, and chances are good neither your receiver nor speakers will be taxed.

If your EPI speakers haven't yet been refoamed, they'll need that service immediately. Generic 8" foam will work fine. While you're at it, swap the old capacitor in each speaker out for an inexpensive polypropylene film-type.

Thanks for the input! I have re-foamed and re-capped the speakers already.
