My TX-7800 came in yesterday , got it home tonight and dusted it out and deoxed the switches and hooked it up . I am no tuner expert but this one sounds nice and picks up stations great , what surprises me is I like it better than my TX-8500II . I think the 7800 sounds a little better and it pulls stations in better and picks up a couple more than the 8500II . From what I have read I thought the 8500 was a better tuner . Maybe the 8500 needs a little work ? I have had no problems with it but I am leaning towards the 7800 as my preference .
