Had one once...gorgeous tuner with insanely high build quality. Probably should have kept it but it wasn't quite as good with reception as my KT8300

I notice my 9100 is dead quiet on one particular station that doesn't compress heavily, and also broadcasts in "HD". My old Scott tuner with a strong signal has a background noise on that station. The 9100 is on the Brian Beezley list of tuners that reject HD noise and it's apparent from listing.

Easily worth $70.

Just make sure red Stereo light comes on and make sure AM also works.
