Pioneer vs Onkyo ??

Hello I have a Onkyo TX- SR 602 but am considering a used
Pioneer VSX-919 AH-K that is posted for 160 $ on Craigslist
any thoughts about what I have now and the Pioneer and its price
is very appreciated

I had a 602 years back, and the left and center went on me about a year into some theater abuse. I switched to the used Pioneer market for a reciever (vsx-1014x) and the same thing happened but with my rear surround and center. I liked both units bang for the buck wise, as they were used and commonly found on CL and eBay. The Pioneer did have more functionality but it was a couple tiers away from the 602. If your Onkyo works and you are budgeting your money, I would keep it until something better pops up. I found that 1014 for 75 bucks...
