CANT FIND ANYTHING ONLINE ABOUT THESE SPEAKERS...REALLY WEIRD.

Someone local has them and I love the vintage look. Do not know a thing about them though. ANYBODY have any info on these?

Worth 15 bucks?

Only guessing.
Because you can find no info:
1. they are very rare
2. they were mainly sold overseas
3. they are rack system speakers
Could be any, a combination, or none of the above.
Or something I didn't think of.

I once had a pair of XD-10 that I got new at Service Merchandise back in 1978. Today however, there seems to be very little information on that model as well.

Here it is. Unfortunately I don’t have any other pictures or a picture with the grill off. This is it. I like the way they look and they remind me of my vintage KLH model 6s....I know these are definitely not my model sixes by any means but they look nice and was curious if they are worth picking up...

Looks just like the XD-10 that I owned. It was a 3 way speaker with a 10" woofer, an amber colored dome midrange driver with a mesh grille covering and a conventional cone type tweeter. It was rated at 6.3 ohms IIRC. Not a bad sounding speaker!

Hmmmm..interesting...so for the money they may not be bad...
15.00 bucks. And they look to be in good shape from the ONE pic lol. I'll take the grills off when I get there and the drivers will be all crushed in lol
Anyways, thanks for the info 62caddy......and thanks for your 2 cents goodolpg. I think it's like #3 in your first thoughts of the speakers, goodolpg.....rack system speakers/store box speakers.....62caddy said he bought his XD-10's at Service Merchandise in the late 70's.

I think I may give them a go or at least go check them out. Thanks everyone. Anybody else with some info??

Lo and behold look at what just got posted on 3 days ago. My very first pair of "real" speakers. (XD-10). They were $200 for the pair back in 1978.

Those look cool. Wonder if the XD-10 are similar to the XD-6....Well I’m definitely getting them so we’ll see. I’ll post pictures after I do

I know this has nothing to do with the XD-6, but those XD-10 look like the Project 100A speakers and somewhat the MCS 8225 speakers. USA made by United speaker. I also could not find info nor images of the XD-6 And I looked HARD. Pioneer_Project_100A_speaker_mine_QM1.jpg $(KGrHqN,!rcFF0nz-S)9BRku1Wjj5!~~60_3.jpg
