PL-530 Slight Repair Help!

Hiya folks,

The first time around these parts, but have been doing lots of reading for the last few days. I just recently acquired a PL-530 in really quite good condition but during shipping, there were some slight issues that caused me to find 2 screws and a nonrotating table. After further evaluation and disassembly, I found what looks like 1 of the main mounts for the motor to have been stripped and the screws removed from that area. (pics attached to show).

So my somewhat dumb question is, can I just screw into the other 2 of the 4 slots provided? Looks like the remaining 3 mounts were screwed the same way (slots 2 and 3 when looking from left to right, see pic attached). Since 2 is stripped can I screw into 1 and 4 or is it better to try to fix the hole for 2 and get it to be the same as the other 3 mounts? If I was to make 2 new holes, is there anything specific to do when starting those holes to make sure this doesn't happen again?

Am I overthinking this? lol. Thanks for the help ahead of time, and I look forward to seeing the options and thoughts!
