PL-530 Tonearm Return Issue

Hi guys - I just bought a fairly mint PL-530 that to the best of my knowledge has just one issue - the tonearm doesn't sit all the way back completely in the cradle upon return. It's about 1/4" off. Is there possibly an easy fix for this? Thanks!

Ther is a piece of foam (about 1/4" square) that has rotted away off the return mechanism, similar to speaker foam, and needs to be replaced. There are several threads here on just that.
